Arctic Monkeys...
Dark colours, typical indie rock/Arctic Monkeys. Immediately establishing their personal style.
Image of the artist (Alex Turner) on the front and back, automatically highlighting the main attraction straight away so it draws his fans in to the album/single as they are going to be interested as soon as they see his face.
Artist logo, to identify them as a casual artist. This is done through the deliberate font use of an unexpected style, outlining their unorthodox style.
Classic use of cigarette, often associated with Arctic Monkeys as this is the style that people think of the band when they are mentioned. This contributes to the rouge attitude that they are showed with.
Song titles are outlined so the audience are aware what they are getting
Negatives? - It could be argued that the digipak as a whole is a little bit bland and plain. However, this could counteracted with the fact of this being a big part of the indie rock genre.
