Question 3:
How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
Throughout the duration of the creation of my website and media products, I have used a wide variety of different technology along the way. This is included in a variety of different stages, including; research, planning, production, post production, feedback and even the evaluation.

The main programmes that I used in my A2 journey were Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Youtube and Emaze.

Adobe Photoshop.
Photoshop is a very complex programme that takes a lot of practice to get used to. This arguably was one of the main factors in the A2 journey as it had a hand in both the magazine advert and the digipak. Without this, neither of the ancillary tasks would have been anywhere near as professional looking as it takes photoshop to generate more professional appearance. We first used photoshop when we had to create our digipak and magazine advert replicas, this took quite a while due to the complex nature of the programme.

Adobe Premiere Pro.
Premiere Pro is a tool that we have used for sometime now. We used it in the editing stage of our AS horror opening and have continued to use it up to A2 constantly increasing our ability to use it competently. As a result, we were already fairly familiar with the software so the step into editing the A2 music video became a relatively easy and natural one. We began to out new special effects in as we became more confident, something that we would never have done last year, showing our level of progression.

Youtube.
Youtube us incredibly vital in the research and planning stage of any media journey, it is also important in the later stages when having to upload products to the internet. Research and planning almost relies on youtube for videos to further support the ideas mentioned. It s also used for finding music videos that already exist.

Emaze.
Emaze is a piece of software used throughout the media journey, from AS to A2. Itr is used in all the taes to use different types of trchnockly is being used to present posts. This is used in similar ways to Prezi, Powerpoint, GoConqr and various other programmes.

Camera equipment.
Throughout the two year of the course, I have used a lot of camera equipment, this includes the camera itself, tripod, steadicam the oly and various other pieces of equipment. These all played a big part in the creation of the footage used in the music video and the photographs used on the digipak and the magazine advert.
