Music video conventions...
In terms of music video conventions, there are a number of different aspects to take into consideration as to what goes into them. This includes;
- camera angles/shots/movements
- editing
- mise-en-scene
- sound
- as well as a variety of other features
As well as this, there are music videos that have conventions specific to their genre.

In terms of the conventions of an indie rock music video, there are specific things that often occur;

- Often dark colours, normally black and white
- The artists tend to be seen in the shot throughout the video to show the indie rock genre to be personal
- Long shots and extreme close ups are the most prominent shots
- Dark areas and locations are used a lot
- The pace tend to be fast and quick
- There is sometimes special effects used, normally to create a theme.
